Role Summary/Purpose:

The VP, Cloud Migration Manager (PM) will build a high-performing team of migration advisors and subject matter experts. As the voice of the customer, you'll work closely with teams to help them evolve the cloud program and address issues, concerns, and requests as part of our migration activities. You will work in close collaboration with a cross-functional team of engineering, SI partners, Sourcing/Procurement, Client Integration Managers, HR and executive leadership to deliver results for our teams.

Essential Responsibilities:

This leader will lead the change transformation driving the cloud migration plan.  They will manage and/or coordinates all tasks for medium and large-sized cloud migration project(s) of moderate to high complexity and risk.

  • As an experienced Cloud Migration Manager you will work with the engineering teams to plan and manage multiple migration projects with various applications, security tools and infrastructure platforms and ensure the security of the cloud infrastructure.

  • This is a front-line, hands-on, role expected to be involved in project details, escalation resolution, risk identification, issue management and driving the team to achieve the results required to deliver the project and meet management expectations.

  • Meet/interact with application owners, delivery leaders and infrastructure support personnel to coordinate migration activities across multiple workstreams or agile release trains, inclusive of implementation plans, and review sequencing and timing details of application outages and post-migration testing.

  • Coordinate across senior leaders, business areas and program teams to ensure engagement and training are aligned with business needs.

  • Drives project kick-off activities; internal meetings, statement of work creation, project plan documentation.

  • Prepares and manages schedules, risks, issues, and interdependencies with understanding of on premise and cloud technologies across teams.

  • Gathering application and infrastructure requirements and constraints to plan application migrations.

  • Interfacing with teams during the migration planning, design, and execution phases to track and manage migration activities and issue resolution.

  • Coordinate across technical disciplines to migrate multi-tiered workloads from on-prem to Cloud.

  • During execution, monitors performance and reports to management project status and pertinent issues, including major milestones and potential project risks.

  • Support business stakeholders in supplier selection and bid evaluation processes, including collecting requirements, managing bidder communications, and analyzing bid responses. Develops and manages requests for proposals, quotes, and information.

  • Manages relationships with internal stakeholders and coordinates sourcing strategies, opportunities, and requirements for vendors.

  • Design and establish a repeatable and sustainable process to enable scaled migrations. 

  • Budget responsibilities, PO management, and actual spend tracking.

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10+ years of either Technology, Agile Portfolio Management;  OR in lieu of Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 15+ years of Technology and Agile Portfolio Management experience

  • Minimum 8 years of Project\Program Management experience

  • Demonstrated experience with Cloud, Infrastructure and Information Security technology delivery at large scale.

  • Demonstrated experience of program management and/or large scale change transformation. 

  • Demonstrated experience working in a matrixed environment with proven experience influencing leaders at all levels.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills with a demonstrated business presence while interacting with senior business executives

  • Proven experience with partnering, collaborating and influencing across a large multilayered organization at all levels

  • Proven experience handling multiple, and competing priorities across all stakeholder groups and effectively resolving competing priorities and interests with minimal disruption

Desired Characteristics:

Grade/Level: 14

The salary range for this position is 150,000.00 – 250,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
