Role Summary/Purpose:

The Practice Development Specialist is an outbound phone-based consultative sales position responsible for selling industry specific health and wellness related providers on the benefits of CareCredit and Synchrony’s full suite of financial products. This role is focused on driving product engagement, increasing net credit sales, ensuring compliance, and helping practices drive revenue within an assigned territory.

Occasionally you may be required to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as business or team meetings, training and culture events.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Use a consultative, value-based approach to strengthen provider relationships and showcase benefits of CareCredit and the broader Synchrony portfolio.

  • Engage with office staff responsible for financial conversations to drive utilization of CareCredit and the full Synchrony product suite by understanding their business needs and recommending tailored solutions during open hours.
  • Educate providers on the benefits, features, advantages, compliance requirements (i.e. Disputes, Complaints and Fraud), and best practices for using CareCredit and additional Synchrony offerings to ensure a thorough understanding.
  • Monitor and deliver performance goals, productivity call metrics, key performance metrics (i.e. percent of time of phone, number of calls per day, time in between calls, etc.), and compliance standards established by the organization.
  • Apply the defined sales process and segmentation strategy to prioritize outreach, execute marketing campaigns and drive performance.
  • Own the full book of business within your assigned territory, ensuring all practices have your contact information and are aware of the support and training available to them.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all provider engagements in Salesforce.
  • Deliver effective onboarding and product training to new accounts assigned to your territory, ensuring they are equipped and compliant from first contact.
  • Conduct performance reviews with practices to identify growth opportunities, implement action plans, and increase product usage.
  • Proactively develop long-term relationships with clients to generate loyalty, uncover opportunities, and grow revenue.
  • Proactively schedule virtual meetings with providers, ensuring cameras are on to create a more engaging and professional client experience
  • Respond to inbound calls generated through marketing eƯorts and returned calls providing expert guidance and product knowledge.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and teammates to share best practices, escalate issues, and implement process improvements, fostering a team-centric culture rooted in connection and shared goals.
  • Perform other duties/and or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year- proven experience in Sales, Account Management, Field Sales, Telephone Sales, or Collections
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and engage across various channels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and work independently

Desired Characteristics:

  • BA or BS degree
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Tableau, or similar)
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed KPIs and Sales goals
  • Knowledge of financial products or services
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, metrics driven environment

Grade/Level: 07

                                   

The hourly rate range for this position is $24.50 – $34.00/hr USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience or skill level.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
