Role Summary/Purpose:
Synchrony is continuing to build a world class Marketing Organization committed to driving results with our retail and payments partners while also delivering leading customer experiences. Within our Growth Organization, our Document and Content Management team (DCM) works with multiple departments to create, update, and maintain private label/bankcard content and collateral.
This is a prominent, relationship building, leadership role where you will evangelize DCM’s latest marketing technology. The Senior Project Manager will serve as the primary communicator between internal stakeholders and DCM’s Platform Leaders to gather requirements, create, and update content, achieve productivity goals, increase revenue, and maintain high quality standards. Essential Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clearly understand scope and vision for incoming project requests.

Communicate, translate, and simplify business requirements into functional requirements for incoming projects requests to ensure completeness, accuracy, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to team standards

Lead strategic initiatives related to DCM with peers and cross functional stakeholders

Work with other DCM Leaders to ensure on-time delivery of shared content, legal templates, data, and documents

Influence leaders and champion process efficiencies, such as content standardization across the Enterprise, to maintain quality standards and reduce campaign cycle time

Partner with DCM Leaders to development monthly dashboards, analyze data and perform self-audits

Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
-
Bachelor's Degree or in lieu of degree, high school diploma/GED and 6+ years of business process experience.

3+ years financial services experience that includes a combination of business analysis
and requirements gathering for a medium to large size organization

3+ years project management experience
Desired Characteristics:
-
3+ years basic knowledge of algorithms, XML, JavaScript and/or Data Modeling

Ability to translate non-technical information into technical information and vice versa
-
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate

Experience in a high-volume, fast paced environment with proven success, strong time management
-
Experience in consumer financial services with exposure to a credit card or retail environment

Detail-oriented individual who reviews his/her work carefully, quality control is key

Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to develop new tactics and address implementation obstacles

Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator experience is a plus

The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 – 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:

You must be 18 years or older

You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
