Role Summary/Purpose:
The Health and Wellness Integration Leader will serve as a direct line supervisor of business solutions projects in support of Health & Wellness client and partner integration processing needs through a wide range of APIs and hosted processing platforms. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: direct solution design with client and technology partners, coordination of partner and client development efforts, and support of the entire integration life cycle from testing through to release and post release monitoring.

Essential Responsibilities:

Utilizes in-place Project Management process to manage Client and Partner Integration projects for Sales, Operations, Risk, Finance and Marketing through complete project lifecycles.

Interacts with business users to gather and validate requirements and develop detailed specifications and designs for new architecture.

Partners heavily with Sales organization and IT Solution Delivery for strategy definition and implementation.

Manage high impact technology projects, including major system enhancements with primary focus on the Health and Wellness line of business

Client Point of Sale Integrations, both in-house and vendor-based programming/ integrations

Requires ability to interface directly with Client/ Vendors assisting with point-of-sale modifications for both New Client Implementations as well as Existing Client POS enhancements in regard to requirements & design

Client Connectivity into Synchrony network for Transaction Processing & Batch File Transfers

Business to Business (B2B) and Business to Consumer (B2C) POS processing knowledge required

Works with development teams on client requirements, architecture design and code reviews, systems, integration and user acceptance testing, and roll-out of new applications.

Lead IT Project Management experience within a technical project management role

Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
-
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of IT experience or in lieu of a Degree, High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 8 years of IT experience and project management experience

Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience to include working on gathering business need requirements, planning and defining business solutions, and working with the application and infrastructure teams to manage the project through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Minimum 3 years of vendor and/or client in-house experience with POS integrations in an IT/Financial Services environment
Desired Characteristics:

Experience working as a liaison across various business functions on various IT projects

Demonstrated experience managing client’s expectations to meet and exceed CTQ (Critical to Quality) objectives
-
IT project management experience within Financial Services industry.

Experience and knowledge of Agile framework methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban and/or SAFe
-
Knowledge of current POS technology and working experience with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), payment processing channels and acquisition systems
-
Client relationship management experience.

Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned from prior initiatives
-
Proven track record of understanding, defining and shaping customers' needs.

Proven track record of acting as a strategic IT business partner with small (individual location) to large sized companies (national chains)

Strong customer/client focus and ability to manage customer/client expectations.

Strong analytical and technical skillset used to drive requirements, testing and production validation.

Demonstrated ability to influence, drive change and work effectively across all levels of an organization
-
Coordinate multiple projects effectively with Business Analysts, other Project Managers and cross-functional teams.

Demonstrated competency with linking business strategy with IT technology initiatives.
-
Strong knowledge and working experience with the Synchrony Non-Stop Tandem and Fiserv platform.

Understand current technical architecture and strategies of Synchrony Financial systems and/or closed network credit systems.
-
Superior oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to manage expectations of the business, clients, team members, management and external groups.
Grade/Level: 11
The salary range for this position is 90,000.00 – 155,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:

You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
