Role Summary/ Purpose:

This role will serve as the VP of Acquisition & Early Lifecycle Marketing for the Lowe’s Commercial Business Revolving and Commercial Credit Card Programs.  We’re seeking a self-driven marketing leader who will be instrumental in building & executing on commercial acquisition and early lifecycle strategies that drive new account growth and customer engagement.

The expansion of the Pro business continues to be a strategic priority for Lowe’s and the partnership. This role will help shape the future of the commercial marketing programs, identifying new account growth opportunities as the Lowe’s Pro ecosystem evolves. This lead will collaborate closely with the Lowe’s Commercial Marketing Leader, Commercial Marketing team, Credit, Analytics, Client Development and our Loyalty COE to develop and execute campaigns that drive measurable results, including applications, new accounts, AOV and MyLowe’s Pro Rewards Program engagement. Additionally, this role will support the development of the online/offline demand generation & engagement strategies leveraging Synchrony and Lowe’s owned channels to ensure impactful & consistent messaging throughout the customer journey.

A critical focus for this role will be close partnership with the Lowe’s Pro and Loyalty organization – aligning credit marketing efforts with their broader strategic initiative to increase Loyalty Program engagement and driving customer value. This leader will lead a wide range of acquisition marketing initiatives leveraging knowledge in campaign execution, performance analytics and our “Engage” Loyalty platform capabilities to build targeted campaigns that drive cardholder behavior.

Beyond Acquisition & Early Lifecycle ownership, this role will serve as a key marketing function lead in Pro cross functional initiatives and projects focused on building scalable solutions to improve the Pro customer experience.  This leader will also be expected to support high impact portfolio initiatives such as Reissue campaigns, Product upgrade campaigns and Change In Terms in partnership with the other Lowe’s cross functional teams  with an emphasis on marketing project management, process improvement and system integration.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead and participate hands-on in the development, execution, and management of comprehensive acquisition and early lifecycle marketing strategies, such as welcome, card activation, eservice enrolment, and spend initiatives for the Lowe’s Commercial programs

  • Partner with Lowe’s, COE and SYF Loyalty teams to align & integrate loyalty and credit program value propositions in key growth strategic initiatives for commercial products and leverage the SYF Engage PLP platform

  • Manage the marketing calendar, campaign budgets, performance reporting and test & learn initiatives across digital, paid, & owned channels.

  • Partner with the digital channel leader & instore leader to ensure effective engagement and messaging across channels.

  • Analyze and drive data informed marketing decisions focusing on customer targeting & personalization

  • Establish and develop key relationships at varying levels within Lowe’s; develop key cross-functional relationships within Synchrony (both on the client team and cross-platform)

  • Lead cross functional collaboration across legal, compliance, credit, finance, analytics, CD/Sales, operations, COE,  marketing performance and Lowe’s client organization to deliver programs and execute on strategic initiatives that meet business objectives.

  • Become a SME on SYF Engage rewards platform and Pro campaign execution

  • Manage contractual marketing budget and spend wing to wing, including the campaign profitability analysis process to drive efficient use of marketing investment

  • Lead efforts to initiate consumer research where necessary and bring new customer insights to life in marketing programs

  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree; OR in lieu of a degree a minimum of 10+ years of consumer financial services marketing experience

  • 5+ years of consumer financial services marketing experience to include:

    • 3 years of experience managing marketing campaigns

    • 3 years of experience marketing consumer credit cards, commercial products, and/or working with retail clients

    • 2 years of management experience including managing teams of people.

    • Ability to travel up to 10-15%

  • Proven track record of leading omni-channel marketing campaigns with strong project management skills, attention to detail and strong execution capabilities

  • Creative agency account management experience

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills, comfortable with working with data to drive decisions

  • Outstanding communications, relationship building, influencing and collaboration skills

  • Strong leadership collaboration and stakeholder management skills across matrixed organizations

  • Solid understanding of digital marketing platforms, CRM, personalization and customer journey optimization

  • High energy, high EQ, marketer with proven ability to partner and communicate effectively at multiple levels of the organization

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, complex, environment and manage multiple projects with little supervision

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to evaluate situations using multiple sources of information

  • Strong budget management, excellent analytical and time management skills

  • Customer centric view with experience mapping customer communication journeys

Grade/Level: 12

                                                            

The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 – 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
