This includes targeting the right audience through campaigns, distributing content via channel marketing, conducting a thorough analysis of campaign launches and budgets, and ensuring compliance via surveillance and governance all to maximize results and maintain a competitive edge. Role Summary/Purpose:
The AVP, Data Analytics and Insights Performance Marketing is a functional manager role and will deliver the business and organizational priorities, working in close collaboration with US performance Marketing Leaders and stakeholders to solve the business problems with solutions that are empowered by data and analytics. The candidate must be a thought leader, direct analytical person and deliver actionable insights for the business along with managing multiple teams.
Essential Responsibilities:

Manage Performance Marketing Reporting and Analytics portfolio, including additional strategic business initiatives.

Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality and accurate services across the organization within established SLAs.

Proactively manage and maintain the project backlog by prioritizing tasks based on business value, team capacity management, and guaranteeing timely project completion in line with SLAs.

Develop, design, and implement analytical and reporting solutions, defining clear KPIs to measure success.

Partner with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive reporting and analytical support, aiming to achieve unified organizational objectives.

Independently lead critical and sensitive leadership projects from initial requirement gathering through to delivery, driving process improvements through data-driven insights.

Lead and mentor for team, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous learning and professional growth.

Stay abreast of emerging AI trends, technologies, and research, translating them into actionable strategies to maintain competitive advantage.

Qualifications/Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4+ years of working experience in Analytics domain preferably Marketing, or in lieu of a degree with minimum 6+ years of working experience in Analytics preferably Marketing.

Over 6 years of hands-on experience with SAS and SQL, along with at least 3 years of experience in Python.

Minimum of 5 years of expertise using data visualization tools such as Tableau to extract and communicate insights.

Proficient in assessing data quality, availability, and relevance to ensure effective AI implementations with 1-2 years experience.

Ability to evaluate various AI and analytics technologies to select suitable approaches aligned with business objectives.

Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex data, develop actionable strategies, and effectively convey insights through storytelling.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present solutions clearly and persuasively.

Keen attention to detail and experience handling large-scale data quality assurance, demonstrating curiosity and sensitivity toward data anomalies.
Desired Characteristics:

Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

Solid understanding of campaign execution processes and Agile reporting.

Knowledgeable in operational reporting, forecasting techniques, and capacity planning.

Strong understanding of AI concepts, including neural networks, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision.

Experienced with AI analytics and insights tools, preferably Tableau Next.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and processes.

Master’s degree in Statistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4+ years of working experience in Analytics domain preferably Marketing, or in lieu of a degree with minimum 6+ years of working experience in Analytics preferably Marketing.
Work Timings: 12 PM to 9 PM IST
This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility and Choice offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs.
