Co-Creating a Healthier Workplace

At Synchrony, we believe that holistic well-being is a core element of a great workplace, and each employee should have access to support for their unique needs. That’s why we introduced Thrive Global, a science-backed platform that uses small daily steps to build healthy habits. This tool is part of our ongoing commitment to listen, learn and evolve our resources alongside our employees.

Through Thrive, our team has access to tools that support mental, emotional and physical wellness in ways that are practical and easy to integrate into the workday. Thrive’s individualized approach uses bite-sized actions called “Microsteps” that can lead to lasting change. Employees can explore Microsteps for the topics that make the biggest difference in their lives like sleep, food, movement, focus and more.

Right now, I’m working on my Connect journey in Thrive. One of the Microsteps that has really helped me connect better is asking a trusted friend for compassionately direct feedback. My motivation to improve my connections comes down to the people I work with. I really want my associates to achieve their full potential, and that starts with how we communicate with one another.

Employees can also choose to destress with a Thrive Reset, a 60-second video that guides users toward a calm, recharged and resilient mindset. These mindful minutes help employees take a moment to relax and stay energized throughout their day.
