Our Analytics organization comprises of data analysts who focus on enabling strategies to enhance customer and partner experience and optimize business performance through data management and development of full stack descriptive to prescriptive analytics solutions using cutting edge technologies thereby enabling business growth.
Role Summary/Purpose:
AVP, Digital AnalyticsInitiatives(Individual Contributor) role is a part of India Analytics Hub (IAH). Our Analytics teamcomprises ofdata analysts who focus on improving customer/product/digital/ journey experience etc. and growth by providing full stack descriptive to prescriptive analytics viacutting edgetechnologies to support businessobjectives.
The role willdeliver onbusiness and organizational priorities, working in close collaboration with US Analytics and IAH teams, solving problems with solutions that are powered by data and analytics. The role includes providing strategic thought leadership inoptimizingandscaling upcurrent deliveries and building analytics roadmap.The model candidate must be a thought leader, hands on problemsolverand deliver actionable insights for the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and govern a centralized digital data gap tracker, ensuringaccuratestatus, dependencies, risks, and milestones; provide regular progress reporting and executive-ready updates to senior leadership.
- Own end-to-end digital data definitions and standards across the Enterprise Data Lake and other enterprise databases, including creation, documentation, version control, and change management for digital metrics, events, and attributes.
- Partner with Agile Release Trains (ARTs), Product Owners, Engineering, and Digital Measurement teams to continuously reconcile features released vs. features measured, ensuring measurement coverage is complete and aligned.
- Champion adoption and consistent use of digital data by socializing standards, definitions, and best practices with platform, product, and marketing teams; enable self-service understanding through documentation and stakeholder forums.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 4+ years ofhands-on relevant Analytics experiencein lieu ofspecifieddegreeminimum6+ years of relevant work experience.
- 4+ Years of working experience inAnalyticsdomain, 2+ years of experience in SAS or SQL.
- 1+ year of hands-on project management using Jira
- Excellent oral and written communication skills withabilityto collaborate,articulate and present solutions cutting across functional/agile teams in a simple yet compelling manner.
- Minimum1+ years of experience in Data visualizations tools such as Tableau to drive insights.
Desired Skills/Knowledge:
- 4+ years of analytics experience in Financial Services Industry
- 2+ years ofDigital or Web Analytics Domainutilizingtoolssuch asAdobe or Google Analytics
- Ability to engage with technical and non-technical audiences with empathy and ensure needs/asks are effectively translated into technical requirements and followed upon.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 4+ yearsofhands-on relevantAnalytics experience.Minimum6+ years of relevant work experience in lieu ofspecifieddegree.
Work Timings:2 pm to 11 pm IST
This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee tochoose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs)
