Drive the design and delivery of next-generation Quality Engineering solutions by blending proven testing methodologies with AI-powered approaches. This role will occasionally architect scalable testing frameworks, champion adoption of AI-assisted testing, and embed intelligent automation across the product development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate high-quality delivery.
As an SME in AI-enabled test automation engineering, this role will partner with peer architects and stakeholders to define strategy, recommend the optimal tool stack aligned to the application landscape, and resolve complex automation challenges—delivering best-in-class, enterprise-wide automation expansion solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

- Define and drive QE standards, best practices, and reusable libraries/patterns across engineering teams.
- Partner with QE leads in application teams to implement shift-left testing and quality-by-design.
- Design and implement AI-assisted testing solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows; lead prompt engineering and context design for reliable AI test agents (test generation, test data creation, defect triage/analysis).
- Drive adoption and standardization of modern automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium).
- Enable self-service automation and quality reporting dashboards for engineering teams.
- Act as a QE technical leader, run architecture reviews, mentor QE Engineers/Architects on AI-driven quality patterns and tools, and resolve complex automation challenges.
- Create playbooks, training, and rollout plans; continuously evaluate/pilot emerging QE technologies and measure adoption and impact.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
- Experience: 12+ years in Software Quality Engineering, including 3+ years in test architecture and framework design.
- Automation Tools: Hands-on expertise in Playwright and/or Selenium, REST API testing, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript or Python automation frameworks.
- AI-Assisted Testing: Working knowledge of LLMs and context design for QE use cases.
- Experience in providing AI-assisted solutions for functional, UAT, performance and security testing.
- AI Tooling: Experience applying AI tools for test case generation, code review support, and defect triage.
- Agentic Workflows: Understanding of agentic AI patterns to build autonomous test agents and end-to-end workflows.
- Integration: Ability to integrate AI solutions with existing business processes and enterprise IT infrastructure
- Communication & stakeholder management: Align and influence stakeholders through clear, concise communication.
- System thinking & architecture design: Design scalable QE architectures with end-to-end perspective.
- Problem formulation & solution design: Turn vague problems into measurable, practical solutions.
Desired Skills/Knowledge:
- Experience designing and building GenAI platforms.
- Exposure to cloud ecosystems such as AWS and Azure.
