Role Summary/Purpose:

The Analyst for HR Supplier Management shall assist the HR Supplier management Team in the complete lifecycle of the supplier relationship from onboarding to offboarding. The role shall assist in identifying, reporting, and managing the risks of suppliers in all aspects of the relationship and will contribute to the execution of all required oversight activities in keeping with Synchrony’s policies and procedures.  The role shall also help ensure the suppliers’ performance delivery and execution of contracted services or products to Synchrony.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as subject matter expert for the HR team on Synchrony’s supplier management program including onboarding, payments, monitoring and offboarding. 
• Work with HR Supplier SME’s and cross-functionally with Finance, Sourcing, Supplier Risk Management, Regulatory, HR Functional Surveillance, Compliance, and Audit teams to drive compliance with Supplier Management procedures and standards. 
• Create and maintain accurate supplier engagement risk profiles
• Timely completion and closure of evaluations, monitoring tasks, risk, risk acceptances, and contract depositions. Develop exit plans to outline alternative options to current suppliers with whom Synchrony has high/complex dependencies.
• Connect with supplier to mitigate any challenges on service agreements and deliverables.
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

• Bachelor Degree with 1 to 3 years of experience in vendor Management /Supplier Management or in lieu of a degree 3 to 5 years of experience in vendor Management /Supplier Management
• 1 years working knowledge and Experience with Coupa

Desired Characteristics:

• Experience with vendor management and/or experience in risk management.

• Experience managing highly sensitive and confidential information

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor Degree with 1 to 3 years of experience in vendor Management /Supplier Management or in lieu of a degree 3 to 5 years of experience in vendor Management /Supplier Management

Work Timings:

This role qualifies for Enhanced Flexibility offered in Synchrony India and will require the incumbent to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time – 11:30 AM Eastern Time (timings are anchored to US Eastern hours and will adjust twice a year locally). This window is for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose. Exceptions may apply periodically due to business needs)
