Job Summary:
The Practice Development Specialist is an outbound phone-based sales position responsible for selling industry specific healthcare related providers on the benefits of CareCredit to drive product engagement in their practices and deliver credit goals within an assigned territory.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Engage with Doctors and Office staff on strategies to best use the CareCredit program to optimize their business performance.
- Educate Providers on CareCredit products, benefits, rates and compliance requirements to ensure a strong knowledge of the program.
- Analyze individual Practice performance and identify opportunities to maximize CareCredit usage through phone consultation with the doctor/staff.
- Implement action plans for low performing practices that will result in increased usage.
- Use a consultative approach to provide value added best practices, new tools, and performance information to strengthen relationships with Providers and demonstrate the benefits of CareCredit.
- Utilize defined sales process, strategies, provider segmentation, prioritization, campaigns and other activity to drive performance.
- Develop long term client relationships to capitalize on opportunities, satisfy customer needs, and increase sales.
- Respond to inbound calls from providers generated as a result of Marketing campaigns.
- Document all provider engagements in Salesforce.
- Deliver on performance measurements, productivity metrics and quality assurance standards set forth by the organization
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Completed at least 2nd year in College or 2-year Associate course
- Minimum of 1 year of telephone sales/field sales/collections experience.
- Demonstrated ability to use various software programs
- Must have knowledge on basic Computers skills.
- Excellent English Verbal and written Communication Skills
- Ability and willingness to recognize, deliver on card service sales opportunities
- Should be Customer Service Centric and with effective Relationship Building skills, demonstrates affinity for building and maintaining rapport with client and customers
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change. Flexibility and adaptability to meet business needs.
- Professional Phone etiquettes and ability to work with a Team
- Must have at least 30 mbps wired internet connection
- Amenable to work in a shifting schedule.
- Amenable to work in a hybrid set-up.
Desired Characteristics:
- Excellent Spanish communication skills
- Experience with Telephone Sales or Field Sales, Collections in financial services or retail industries.
- Professional and consultative selling skills with emphasis on influencing others to take action
- Analytical thinker with excellent presentation, organization, communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels in the organization.
- Can learn new business and financial concepts very quickly.
- Detail oriented especially in handling customer accounts.
- Should be Customer Centric and is effective in relationship building to help grow the business.
- Can demonstrate competency in maintaining positive rapport with consumer banking clients, customers as well as Synchrony leaders.
- Team player with high-level of integrity and professionalism.
- Highly motivated in meeting set goals and can easily adapt to any changes that the business requires.
- Can work under pressure in a highly regulated industry.
- Strong accounting background and above average financial literacy is a plus.
