ELIZABETH MARSHALL – AVP, Employer Brand – Remote

Synchrony is proud to be a company that includes and supports people of all abilities. That’s why we’re celebrating the amazing contributions, diverse perspectives, strength and empowerment of our disabled colleagues and caretakers of people with disabilities.

This Life at Synchrony story features our very own Elizabeth Marshall, AVP Employer Brand, as she shares the ways People with Disabilities Network+ has supported her and her family throughout her Synchrony career journey.

Elizabeth’s story highlights how varying disabilities, visible and hidden, uniquely affect each person and shows how Synchrony continually improves our support for their needs. We understand that every person with a disability needs and wants different things in the workplace. That’s why we offer wide-ranging benefits from flexible working to robust medical coverage to our Employee Assistance Program that connects you to the resources that you need and when you need them. We’re committed to working with our colleagues to support their working lives and continually evolving to support our employees’ wellbeing.

Our PDN+ spotlight month theme is “Representation Matters: Nothing About Us, Without Us”, noting that people with disabilities know better than anyone else what they need from their workplace, their colleagues and their teams.

The People with Disabilities Network is committed to opening new dialogues with our peers during August with forums such as “How Advertisers and the Media Can Get Real About Representing Disabilities” and screenings of the short film “Blessed with Dyslexia and Neurodiversity”. The PDN+ also supports education and involvement throughout the year with events like Polar Plunge, benefiting the Special Olympics, and a partnership with the UConn Center for Neurodiversity and Employment Innovation.

Synchrony is dedicated to providing people with disabilities and their families with the support they need when they need it. We look forward to continuing to amplify our culture of caring and inclusion.
